Help patients with enquiries concerning billing statements and insurance coverage. Identify and report billing and coding errors. Assist in fixing invoicing and coding discrepancies. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant legislation. Qualification: high proficiency with medical terminology and billing procedures. knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software. Very good interpersonal and verbal communication abilities. strong ability to solve problems and negotiate. the capacity to handle challenging events with composure and professionalism. ability to use phone and computer systems effectively.
