Duralox is a durable aluminum oxide and is a registered trade name of Jyoti Ceramic Industries Pvt. Ltd. This means an aluminum oxide ceramic composition containing 90 to 99.7% and a percentage of Al2O3 in its residue. In addition to the above sizes, ceramic thermocouple tubes and multibore tubes can be manufactured on request. Duralox 997 single and multi bore tubes and insulators are used to insulate thermocouple wires suitable for maximum temperature 1800 0C as per DIN 43725 standards. Tube sizes can be made on request if possible in addition to those shown in the table above. Dimensional tolerance is maintained according to DIN 40680 middle class standards. Duralox 997 alumina ceramic thermocouple tubes and multibore tubes are produced by high pressure extrusion, dry / wet bags with isostatic pressure.
