GAURAV MADAN FILM MAKER IN MUMBAI

I am a storyteller, writer, and director, with a passion for exploring the world. I was born and raised in Yamuna Nagar, a small dusty town in Haryana, India; I discovered my love for writing and music when I was just ten. My journey as an artist has taken me from Pune to Mumbai. I did my master's in communication studies from the University of Pune. After working as an advertising film director for several years, I decided to try my hand at feature films. In 2014 one of my feature scripts, 'Shaktipur Crude,' was a part of the prestigious Sundance Screenwriters Lab. As a result, my debut feature film Barah by Barah (12×12 Untitled) had its Indian Premiere in IFFK, Kerala, and its International Premiere at Shanghai International Film Festival 2021. Since then, it has toured me at many film festivals and won numerous awards, including Grand Prix for Best Feature Film 2021 at FIPRESCI India. I constantly strive to hone a unique and compelling voice that will resonate with audiences worldwide while exploring many wonders of the world of storytelling.
