Asus ps

Top sales list asus ps

Mumbai (Maharashtra)
Moving places. This router supports Dual WAN functionality (meaning - you can pipe internet through two internet service providers or one internet service provider + LTE Data at same time). You can load balance between two internet service providers or create redundancy rules (in case the primary internet service provider fails, the device can fall back to backup internet line). It's the only selling feature of this router (at least for our needs we first connected a spare mobile phone via USB port and used it as backup internet, until we purchased Airtel's B310 and connected via Ethernet VLAN1 port that served as our backup internet in case when our local internet service provider was down during rains and/or network downtimes), beyond the marketing gimmicks listed on back of the box. Used this for a while. In case of duplex, you would need two of these routers - and it can create a mesh network with other Asus products. If no one is willing to pick this up, we will end up purchasing another one of this and create mesh network to the new place moving in. Both WANs are Gigabit. The second WAN can also be in form of USB data stick (provision of USB port). If the USB port is unused, you can also use it to attach it to a flash drive or external hard drive and use the router as file server for backup, within home network. There's a feature we shortly used - which is to connect this router to OpenVPN powered server (although we would recommend to use something like Ubiquiti UniFi if you are using VPN + QoS rules for more than 8-10 devices). Without VPN and/or stringent VPN rules, this router is good enough for 14 devices (tested). Don't think range is ever an issue. 2.4 GHz on band 1/11 should cover apartment/homes with thick walls. Lower band of 5 GHz (i.e. band 36-48) should give decent performance in such places. If there's network congestion around your neighborhood : bands 153-161 will do the trick. Also works with PPPoE (local internet cable) configuration. If you are using Airtel/Jio fiber, you can use Dynamic IP mode and connect the base station with this router using ethernet cable. Recommend to position this router at the epicenter of your home/house. The takeaway - if you have two local internet service providers, and/or airtel/jio/vodafone data-sim or spare sim-card, you can create your own home network with redundancy, so that there's no downtime! I would be happy to provide screenshots of my configuration necessary for you to get started PS If you have another RT-AC59U V2 : I'm also interested in purchasing your device
