1986 Jefferson ConvertibleThis 42’ Jefferson Convertible is a Taiwan built yacht with a conservative profile. She is built on a low deadrise solid fiberglass hull with a nice keel for directional stability. A wide 14’3” beam provides plenty of room on the back deck and the interior. Her two stateroom galley down design is great for enjoying after a day of cruising. Owners stateroom had a queen berth and front stateroom has comfy bunks. Both are connected to a head with separate stall shower. Saloon has a convertible couch so you can sleep 6 easily. Dual AC units will keep you cool. The all teak interior is in good condition. The lower helm adds a lot of versatility to the design when you decide to not drive from the Flybridge. That flybridge has a hardtop with a full enclosure to keep you dry in the most inclement weather. Twin 375 Caterpillar can cruise at 23 to get you where u need to go or be economical at a slow cruise. They are in a nice sized engine room with access from both the galley and saloon (if you lift up floor boards for bigger jobs). A 10KW Westerbeke will keep you powered up when not using shore power. Twin 150 Gal tanks and twin 75 gal tanks under back deck. Fuel filtering system on board to keep it all fresh! Boat was driven under its own power to current location in Sept of 2017. Due to Life it has been on the hard since then. It has never sunk or taken on sea water! Good solid boat just needs some love to get it back to tip top condition. Either fix up and use or fix up and sell. I just don’t have the time at this point.Minor leak in front cabin damaged headliner. Headliner and wood above was removed, good teak trim work stored on boat in excellent condition. Some teak veneer damage. Windows in cabins will need replaced. Interior wood around windows in owners cabin needs replaced. Port engine needs exhaust gasket replaced (new one on board). Transom door needs replaced. Transom and rest of boat is solid.
