We have a full Japanese tea set. It is made of porcelain with gold gilt dragons, applied enamel, moriage, and lithophane Geishas in the bottom of the teacups. Most pieces have a red maker's mark as shown. This set includes: Large Tea Pot measuring 7 1/2" tall to the top of the lid and 9" wide from handle to the dragon's mouth. Sugar Bowl measuring 4 1/2" tall and 7" wide from handle to handle. Cream Pitcher measuring 4 1/2" tall to the top of the dragon's head and 7" between handle and dragon head. Set of Plates 7 1/8" in diameter. Set of Saucers 5 3/8" in diameter. Set of Tea Cups 2 1/8" tall, 3 3/4" wide across the tops (plus handle) and with 1 1/2" diameter bottoms that have the lithophane Geishas. This set is in excellent condition. Despite the reflections in my photos, all the gold is bright with only minor wear around the edges. Please view my photographs for more description.
