1981 Olson 30. Hull ID # 301480981. One owner since new. My brother in-law purchased it new. He passed away 2 years ago. We sailed this boat a lot in the 80's & 90's. It sat on it's trailer for about 8 years. We started racing it again in the late 2000's.   Fresh water boat. Lake Murray. Columbia, S.C. (Was raced a few times on our coast back in the 80's).   The boat is a project. The hull, bottom, keel, rudder, cockpit, side decks, cabin top are in good shape. The hull was painted (Awlgrip) in 2010. It still looks good, but it is not perfect. **The fore deck is SOFT from the hatch area forward. It will need repair.  The running rigging is original and is in good shape.  The trailer is original (steel) it does not have brakes or lights. The tires are around 8 years old and have no dry rot and very little use, perhaps 2 miles. (No spare tire) Hubs were cleaned & greased 10 years ago. Has bearing buddies. No kicker. Sail inventory is old. Newest being a UK Main & Spinnaker (2010) The boat comes with a South Carolina Bill of Sale (Notarized). *No Title. The trailer comes with no title. Not required in the state of S.C.  ~ Please do not bid if you are not serious. No need to waste time. We are hoping she finds a good home. Daydreamin is a beautiful nimble little boat. I spent last summer setting her up to go cruising, but due to crew issues was never able to get going. The navigation is brand new Raymarine, all you need is a chartplotter.  The gimbaled three burner propane stove with oven works great, has a propane locker in the rear of the cockpit.  We installed 350w of solar with MPPT controller and a new inverter.  We insulated the cabin with thermal reflective foam core.  Cushions are good and firm. Sails still have some good life in em. Has a great surround stereo system.  Head works great, never had an issue. She’s 39 years old so you can expect some wear and tear, but overall she’s in pretty good shape and ready to go. I’m including all safety gear, spare parts, electronics, extra ropes/lines, paint, and some shackles. 

This auction is for a Classic 14' fiberglass runabout boat. It is a 1959 Larson Thunderhawk Jr. The boat has a 1960 40hp Johnson outboard motor and a tilt trailer. The boat has a canvas top, battery, fuel tank, speedometer, original steering wheel and a "Bo'sun" control setup. Included with the boat is a wood paddle, a couple of older style life jackets, a Clymer Johnson outboard motor shop manual, an original Larson boat sales brochure from 1959 and copies of registrations from California, McCall Idaho and the current one from Nampa Idaho. We bought the boat in 2015 due to it's classic style to tow behind a pickup we have from the same era. At that time, the boat had a new top and upholstery done, plus the motor had been tuned in 2014 per the seller. He was not able to run it at the time. We bought it as is. We have never put it in the water, removed the battery and fuel tank then kept it covered for protection. As the old truck is still a work in progress, we feel this boat needs a good home, where it will get the attention it deserves. The boat is not set up to start and run, so is being sold as-is, with no implied warranty. Buyer is responsible to pick it up or arrange and pay for any shipping.
