P. Mauriat Alto Saxophone PMSA-60NS with SOLID NICKEL SILVER body & neck This saxophone is in exceptional condition. Please see the photos. The sax is not mint, but very close to new condition. The currently sold P.Mauriat Black Pearl alto sax is only plated in nickel silver (currently selling for $4419) – this PMSA-60NS alto was made when P.Mauriat was still producing a SOLID Nickel Silver body. These are very rare! The tone of this sax is bright and brilliant with tons of projection. Compared to the brass-bodied horns we are all familiar with, the nickel-silver alloy gives a ton of character to the sound and this sax has a beautiful, vibrant tone which is very unique. Sax comes with the Super VI neck which has the widest taper and is very free-blowing. Sax also includes the original P.Mauriat flight case which I believe is a ProTec case which P.Mauriat customized with their badges and custom zipper pulls. This sax is virtually new – the new owner will have a fantastic sax which is also very unique.
