We are looking for a QA Lead who is a proven software tester and who has a solid understanding of Methodologies and QA processes. The QA Tester Lead is responsible and accountable for leading and mentoring off-shore teams and communicates project status to the client and project manager. The QA Lead should be able to help define and distribute daily tasks to our QA team and is therefore held more accountable for the quality of our work. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Understand and challenge project scope Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operations of applications Show initiative, drive process, and assign tasks Follow the lead and guidance of Client IT Managers and act as management backup Proactively manage priorities and milestones for team and project Set the tone of quality for bug reports, tests cases, and documentation Maintain professional communications between off-shore QA and client. Report team’s status per defined milestones to client Proactively mentor, review, and audit efforts completed by fellow testers and engineers Actively participate in development of employees with oversight by manager Oversee training of new resources Teach and drive standard operating procedures Participate in facilitation of team meeting Assist in completion of project weekly status report, team metrics, and quarterly report Ensure project needs are met with IT

• Lead technical design and delivery on complex features and new systems • Manage multiple scrum teams and development engineers • Manage the sprint releases with close zero tolerance on delivery slippages • Work across entire tech stack from applications services to data base • Should be ready to review the code and work with the engineers to resolve the technical issues • Contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability and performance of Giant Eagle applications • Responsible for hiring, coaching and mentoring a high performing team • Apply strong engineering principles to drive the best development practices. • Technically hands-on and support and guide the team members in Design reviews and driving the best engineering practices • Mush have experience in JavaScript, Jquery, Type Script, Angular (any version), Able to write PHP service, REST API, MySql • Should have experience in fast debugging, identify correct bottlenecks and bug fixing. • Knowledge about grunt, Jquery UI, Node/NPM, Elastic Search (added advantage). • Should have experience to manage source control SVN/GIT, • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of dashboards • Ensure the Unit testing and Integration testing. • Experience leading front end, backend and full stack development teams • Experience leading and maturing geographically diverse, agile, product driven engineering teams • Agile development practices

Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for design, implementation, code reviews, reporting, and documentation in the assigned technical area. • Lead a team of software engineers and shipped product features in an Agile environment. • Experience implementing enterprise integration architectures and designing integration solutions. • Experience in using any API Gateway (preferably AWS API Gateway). • Experience in using Kafka or EAI with tools such as Spring Integration / Camel or Industry-leading tools. • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns. Desired Candidate Profile Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role Proven track record of supporting web platforms (e.g. websites or APIs) in production at scale. Experience in cloud platforms to upgrade and fix. Experience defining appropriate metrics to monitor web platforms, and alerting on breaches of those metrics. Ability to monitor and identify network policy violations and system breaches. Experience with incident response in an on-call environment. Experience with continuous delivery and zero-downtime deployments. Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Redis (or similar platforms). Comfortable with command-line tools and environments. Linux experience is essential. Proficient with at least one server-side programming language such as Ruby or Python. Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible, and understand their common use cases. Experience with container deployment platforms like Kubernetes. Experience with Docker & Containerisation. Prior evidence of developing command-line tools.
