EV CARDINALS ( MODIFIED ) ON KLIPSCHORN ENCLOSURE. original EV Cardinals on Klipschorn enclosure - features Original PWK ( klipsch ) 15inch woofer , EV T25 A ( alnico ) midrange driver with EV 8HD horn , Bob Crites CT120 titanium diaphram tweeter . Crossover network upgraded to Bob Crites EV X8 X36 ( less than one year old ) original EV crossover also available Speaker are rated at 16 Ohms ,approximately 104 db efficiency . i am driving it with a SET tube amp , less than 10 watts itself is very very loud & powerful. I am the third owner , second owner changed the woofers to PWK 15 inch . i have changed the tweeters & crossover network speaker will weigh approximately 100 kgs each . Please do your research , for further clarity contact . If you don't have the budget , dont call quoting very low pricing. Its an excellent tower speaker. 200w rms @8 ohms,3 way Made in Denmark.Best matching for almost amplifiers.deep bass and highs. These speakers have an extremely uneven response, accentuating at 100Hz and 6kHz and with a MASSIVE dip between 400 and 900Hz. Flabby and sizzling. Great if you're listening to a flute solo or whale song, but that's about it. Unfortunately, Eltax have buckled to the home cinema market's preference for a 'lively', bracing sound. It's as if they've taken the (much better) 8.2s and added an undefeatable 'pop music' EQ setting such as found on kids' midi-systems. Its construction and connections is actually pretty good. Overall, this is a good speaker
