This is one of the rarest tow trucks out there! Heavy-Duty 1950 Chevrolet 4800 COE original 5 window cab with a two speed rear axle and four speed manual transmission. The PTO tow body winch and two speed rear axle all work! It's truly amazing to see if you know what this is. It has spent it's entire life in Arizona and the beautiful patina shows! It is powered by a GM 235 cubic-inch inline 6 cylinder engine with a 70's ignition system for increased reliability. The engine purrs and sounds wonderful. The exhaust is routed to dual stacks behind the cab which sound deep and mean. It has the original tow body that still works in addition to the old school push bumper in the front. We have replaced/serviced the following: (1) new curved glass window on the rear, all new rear window rubber New brakes all around, brake hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and Hydravac all replaced Serviced & Re-Packed Wheel Bearings Rebuilt Carburetor & Cleaned Fuel System New tires New window regulators New Radiator New Water Pump New Fuel Pump Rebuilt Starter New fluids/coolant/oil all replaced We regularly drive the truck around town and it's truly enjoyable, even the original turn signals and running lights work. This is a beautiful truck that packs some outstanding reliability with the work we have done without changing how it looks. My dad is the person who serviced it and worked on it, it's his hobby after spending over 40 years in the automotive repair business. This helps keep him busy and he loves what he does. He doesn't believe in changing the appearance but does everything needed to make it reliable again. 1991 Ford F-250 Single Cab Brush Truck! This truck was purchased new by the Ham Lake MN Fire Dept from Minar Ford after being outfitted by Custom Fire of Osceola, WI. The Fire Dept was not required to title and tag it, so I received the truck directly from the City of Ham Lake with a Certificate of Origin and have since titled it in my name with no leins.  This truck spent 30 years in service as a Brush Truck and only gained 20,300 miles during this time.  This is 20k original miles, never rolled over, with full documented proof from the Fire Dept.  It runs a drives just like it did new in 1991. Really a fantastic running and driving truck. I have a stack of full maintenance records spanning nearly all those 30 years, and as you can see the truck comes with the original window sticker and original manual and two sets of original keys! The truck is still a fully functioning firetruck. It has fully operational lights, sirens, PA system, spotlights, flashing lights on the front bar and flashing top light. The 8hp Honda pump starts on the first pull and also has electronic ignition. It has a large water tank with a hose and hose reel mounted on top. The hose real is electric and reels in at the push of a button from either side of the truck. There is also a foaming system that is fully operational.  Water tank is 200 gallons. This would be the perfect truck for home protection from wildfires, fire protection at racetrack, or would be a great addition to any rural firefighting fleet.  It also would make a great truck for Cars and Coffee meetups, car shows, or a Parade Truck and being an F250 you could even pull a parade float! I have a full Marti Report and Carfax. The truck was originally build in Canada. The frame and underside are very rust free, but there is rust on the body behind each rear wheel and bubbling at the driver side cab corner. The tailgate will not come down currently, I think something is bent where it attaches to the truck. I am listing this for the original MSRP because it just seemed fitting.  Open to offers.
