Roles of Quality Assistant Fabric Checker: Key responsibility is to inspect & check the fabric to identify the presence of fabric faults before it pass to the cutting stage. Perform Inspection of incoming raw materials, analyse the findings for discrepancy & photograph for recording purposes. Records numbers and types of defects of fabric in pre-production phase. Co-ordinate with suppliers for minimum defects. To check the fabrics produced, efficiently so as to get the quality output with minimum defects. Knowledge in Weaving & Processing defect levels & raise the relevant reports for records. Knowledge in 4 point systems, observe hand feel & identify the colour shade & variations of the fabric.
