Accordingly to the Guinness record the most expensive silk saree was sold for Rs 3,931,627 on 5 January 2008, in India.
The manufacture was Chennar Silks, a textile unit in south India. They made this stunning, amazing and eccentric saree.
This Saree has 12 precious stones, gold and 11 of Raja Ravi popular paintings.
